The best is yet to come

In my last entry I wrote about a little bit about all of the f*ckery happening in my life. Let's be honest, people love to read about f*ckery. People love to laugh at other's misfortune or offer advice, and I respect that and hell, even feed into it. But today? Today Nhya's f*ckery will take a little rest. It'll be back soon though. Promise.

I've always thought that life after college would be a new adventure and that it has been. I wasn't sure if the adventure would be good or bad though, since my post graduate mind put myself in a sink or swim situation. It was all good though - I'm the kind of person who can test myself and be okay with it. Lately I've had a lot of time (shocker, right?) to think about what has gotten me to where I am today. I've done a little reflecting and thought about the people and life occurrences that have helped shape me into, well, me. Carrymel, Nhya, whatever you'd like to call me. I am so grateful for every single one of those things. The doubters, the haters, but most importantly, my appreciators. I have gotten to meet so many people that have added to my life or taught me a lesson of some sort - even the seasonal people, I'm happy they were here for the time they were.

And the best part about this life journey I'm still on? The best is yet to come.

I know I owe you a Halloween-esque Post, and it's on its way! I will say that my Halloween ended up not going according to plan though. . .

  2. If it makes you feel any better, I'd probably rather read about happy stuff than f*ckery; I'm too happy a person to want much f*ckery. But I AM interested in that bar fight you mentioned haha.

I'm glad you're so happy with your life journey so far though :)

  4. Nhya, LIFE is definitely a journey girl. There are so many twists and turns. Sometimes you don't know which way you're going. All I can say is no matter what, keep moving forward. Some will stay on the bandwagon...Some will fall off... Everything happens for a reason. ((HUG))

  5. Hi Nhya! It's great to read a post from you again, I thought this was about that bar brawl, but I'm happy this was some sort of introspection. Yeah, at your age, girl the BEST is yet to come. And from what I can see, you are certainly destined for great things to come your way. And you are certainly right, people come into our lives, be that they are our detractors or our allies, for a reason: they help mould us to be stronger and better persons than we are maybe a few seconds or years ago.

Just enjoy the ride, aim to do your best at everything you do... and smile ;) Life is beautiful and so are you.

    Cheers,

    Wi

  8. I think that is a good attitude to have. I'm trying my best to have that positive attitude, but it's hard as hell -- especially when you don't know what the hell you're doing.

And as much as I love f*ckery, this kind of post is awesome too.

  10. Loving the optimism! I think an ideal, happy life is a perfect balance of great moments and f*ckery...because hey, when was the last time you ever read a great story that didn't have any conflict? Never. Because moments of f*ckery make life great; they make you appreciate the moments of non-f*ckery. :D

wow, I like this post :] it's like there's no telling what else'll happen beyond today :/ I though I was the only one who felt like this..it's like; the things you've seen/heard/wrote/smelled/etc..is what makes/made you today! I really like your "blogging attitude", it kinda gives me the impression of how I would see you in person(nice, funny, etc..), stay pretty!!
